Card Info

Title: Bottle Rocket
Cost:

2 coins

Quantity:

x1

Play:

Play before your first invasion.

Description:

Choose an opponent's Zebes or Great Fox territory and roll a 6-sided die. Destroy fanboys and/or Heroes equal to the number rolled.

Notes

Before the mechanical genius was building weapons of mass destruction, all Jeff had at his disposal were some lousy fireworks. Still, itís important to note that fireworks, like any explosive, are extremely dangerous and should be handled with care and the supervision of an adult. Use Bottle Rocket to attack Zebes and Great Fox territories, thinning out the forces prior to invasion or simply stripping control of a region from one of the players.

Like the Bazooka, there is no battle animation for Bottle Rocket. Instead, I tried to use the same colors as Bazooka, but in softer tones, to illustrate the cardís watered down (in comparison) abilities. The Jeff spite and green/yellow blobs come from EarthBound.

Previous Versions

There originally were 2 Bottle Rocket cards in War of the Fanboys, and they attacked land territories instead of Zebes and Great Fox territories. The artwork is identical to the WotF 1.0 Bazooka card, and no effort was made to distinguish between the two cards, but for the title and text. The Jeff figure is pictured in the EarthBound Playerís Guide by Nintendo, a fantastic publication.
