Card Info

Title: Dedede's Hammer
Cost:

3 coins

Quantity:

x1

Play:

Play before your first invasion.

Description:

Choose an opponent's air territory and roll an 8-sided die. Destroy fanboys and/or Heroes equal to the number rolled.

Notes

King Dedede is the heavyweight champion of the skies, and possession of that hammer of his is a felony in most Dream Land provinces. Unleashing it upon an enemy air territory can bring a devastating turn of events. A successful strike of 8 can cripple an otherwise formidable defense or wipe out a territory altogether, leaving it open for the taking.

The screenshot is from Super Smash Bros Brawl on Wii, which is the first Smash Bros game to feature the villain. In this game and throughout the Kirby series, King Dedede uses a hammer to unleash powerful melee attacks. It has a history of knocking the wind out of Kirby, and will do just that to the air territories in WotF.
