Card Info

Title: Warp Star
Cost:

2 coins

Quantity:

x1

Play:

Play any time during the game.

Description:

Move any number of fanboys and Heroes from a land territory you occupy to an air territory you occupy.

Notes

The Warp Star is Kirbys primary mode of transportation between the regions of Dream Land. He just grabs ahold and it whisks him to the heavens. When your Fanboys jump on it, they can catch a one-way ticket to an air territory. Because the Warp Star is so fast, it can be used at any time. The versatility means you can use it to launch a blitzkrieg assault, or build up an ironclad defense at a moments notice. The cost of Warp Star is a bit high for a card that simply moves units around, so be sure to spring it when you know itll make a difference.

The screenshot is from Kirby Air Ride for the Gamecube. Air Ride was the first time Kirby appeared in a racing game, perhaps trying to cash in on the success of the Mario Kart series. Unfortunately, it never really took off, though it was received more favorably than Pokemon Dash. Perhaps it will be the Zelda series next that debuts a dedicated racer.

Nothing has changed, but the card was once called Air Ride. The artwork is from the cover art of Kirby Air Ride for the Nintendo Gamecube.
