Card Info

Title: Mega Drain
Cost:

1 coin

Quantity:

x1

Play:

Play before your first invasion.

Description:

Choose an opponent. The chosen player must destroy a fanboy on any land territory. You may then place an additional fanboy on any land territory you occupy.

Notes

Mega Drain was originally conceived when kicking around ideas for a Shy Guy card. The thought was that there would be Fanboys in an enemy territory that defect and join another playerís forces. This idea eventually became Mega and Giga Drain. Mega Drain isnít the most powerful card, but Oddish will do his best to absorb an enemyís strength. Sometimes a couple Fanboys is all it takes to change history.

This Oddish is from the Pokemon TCG Jungle set released by Wizards of the Coast. It shows him walking among the blades of glass, blending in with his natural camouflage. He waits for a Fanboy to step on him, and then drains HP from the target. The card artwork was created by Keiji Kinebuchi.

Alternate Artwork

Mega Drain was originally Leech Seed, but was changed to a move that had multiples tiers of strength. This allowed for the Oddish/Vileplume theme. There is a lot of Pokemon material to draw from, and Iíve tried cramming a lot of it into War of the Fanboys. With the 20 card deck limit, itís tough to edge anything else in, but perhaps Mega Drain will one day become Absorb. Giga Drain would be retitled to Mega Drain and assigned to Gloom, and Vileplume could be given a move powerful version of Giga Drain, so that all of the Oddish family tree can be together.

The Leech Seed move is characterized by a Pokemon wrapping the victim in vines and drawing out its life force. Thatís why Bulbasaur from the Supreme Victors set was chosen, and he leaps towards Fanboys with vines outstretched. The artwork is by Naoyo Kimura.

more correctly it's the sweetness of style, a healthy diet and LOTS of exercise. Throw in a good measure of good-looking &q&tq;genesutuoo; and you're a hottie with make up. Which she is, I might add. No cover up here, just pure fitness and genuine beauty. I should add that's her 19 year old daughter to her right, and her 30 something sister on her left. Yep, the whole family stinks of good looks.
