Card Info

Title: Shovel
Cost:

2 coins

Quantity:

x1

Play:

Play before your first invasion.

Description:

Roll a 6-sided die. Gain coins equal to the number rolled.

Notes

Shovel was originally inspired by Dampe’ in Ocarina of Time, though Link uses a shovel in many games. The difference with Dampe’ is that you have to pay him to dig, and he doesn’t always find anything. This makes it a gamble, and like the Shovel card, you might end up actually losing money. Of course, a few lucky WotF players are bound to strike it rich. The card shows Link picking up the shovel in The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, the Nintendo DS’s sequel to Wind Waker.

Previous Versions

Nothing about Shovel has changed, aside from the artwork. The original card used artwork from the Link to the Past game manual.

Anon, you will pay the bill, one way or another, e.g. through higher prices, interest rates, taxes, etc. Everyone will pay. A zero sum game is an illsniou, because losses will exceed gains.
